This is Deeksha again, and I'm here to tell you all about another story that I read.
Just like all the stories,this story too have a sad part within them, this book also depicts the sorrowful situation Hassan goes through in his young life. The friendship between the two strong friends also end in a very sad way. It also shows the situation of Afghanistan and the rules that were imposed on the Afghans.
The journey of this book is a roller coaster ride as it makes you go through lot of emotions. I would highly recommend people to read this book because there are many books that can be published as well as read, but only some books truly touch your heart and occupy a special place. This book has deeply engraved in my heart forever. The writer of this book Khaled Hosseini, have penned down the story in an amazing way where each and every single word touch your heart and make you go through string of emotions. The story teaches us to value friendship as well.
"The Kite runner" is a story of two close friends Amir and Hassan. The story is set in Kabul, one of the districts in Afghanistan. The story is written during the fall of Afghanistan's monarchy and the rise of Taliban regime.
Amir is a son of a wealthy merchant and a Pashtun boy, where as Hassan,a hazara boy is a servant who works for Amir's father.Flying kites were one of the best sport played in the streets of Afghanistan. Hassan is a successful kite runner for Amir. These two kids used to spend a lot of good time with each other's. Amir also used to narrate the stories written by him to Hassan.
